[VIDEO] Gliding extrem - just a waste of money?

On this day of the wave flying camp in Jesenik, Czech Republic, the weather forecast was very good, so we hoped to be able to climb to high altitudes up to flight level 245. I took off in my glider about 20 minutes before sunrise. The view from my cockpit was really unique but we couldn't find a climb. Many other gliders that day were pulled into the air and landed a little later. Of course, it was not a waste of money but a wonderful flight before breakfast. Later that day, several other gliders took off but without any success.
